All compositions are by former 7th grade students at ISY. There are ABA compositions for their band instrument and given piano harmony. It included an introduction and ending, and they had to be able to physically play it.
Achievements
Grew California instrumental music program 50% in size over four years and created Winter Colorguard and Drumline
Consistently raised performance levels of ensembles, increasing repetoire performance level performed
Has developed and maintained a large extracurricular music program featuring large and small and ensembles
Fluent in electronic music and created custom curriculum for year long electronic music production class
Fully accredited and trained in International Baccalaureate MYP and DP, and AP Music Theory
Created custom curriculum for IB DP Music (2022 first assessment), with all students receiving 5 or above for the course
Coached middle and high school students to successful AMIS auditions and organized subsequent international trips
Has taught middle and high school choir, band, and string orchestra in curricular performance based classes
